American film director, impact journalist, and philanthropist, April Jones, convenes a world-class discussion panel about the fate of the Suvilahti Skatepark at Night Visions International Film Festival following the world premiere of her film, CONCRETE LAW. The topic of the panel discussion is “The communal importance of the DIY culture as a positive urban movement”.
The panel will be moderated by Chris Nieratko, an executive producer of CONCRETE LAW, a skateboard industry veteran and a former editor of Big Brother Magazine (which spawned Jackass).
Speakers include April Jones, Arttu Herva (Chairman of the Board, Suvilahti DIY), Stuba Nikula (CEO, Helsinki Events Foundation), Tuomas “Tume” Nyyssönen (City of Helsinki) and Lauri Vassinen (Chasing The Spot / Skateboarding Team Finland / Finnish Skateboarding Association).
